Eye health guide
A quieter way to care for your eyes.
Most computer-related eye discomfort isn't from the screen itself — it's from how we behave in front of one. Here's what actually helps.
Blink more, on purpose
Screen users blink up to 60% less than normal. Aim for 15–20 blinks per minute. ScreenMedic gently nudges when you drop below your baseline.
Dry eye is a habit problem
Low blink + low humidity + long focus = dry, gritty eyes. Hydrate, humidify, and follow the 20-20-20 rule.
20-20-20, religiously
Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet (~6m) away for 20 seconds. It relaxes the ciliary muscle and re-wets the cornea.
Light around > light from
Match your screen brightness to the room. Avoid working in a dark room with a bright screen — that contrast is what burns out your eyes.
